Workshop on MIS and Launch of Digital MIS

JRDS Development Programs organized an online workshop, via Zoom. The workshop aimed to discuss the significance of compliance and effective data management. The event was centered around the theme ‘Digital MIS: Technological Edge for Visibility and Data Management.’ The workshop welcomed 60 participants, including valuable partners and collaborators from various provinces.

Mr. Shinu Joseph, Manager-Project Support and Data Analyst at JRDS, welcomed and set the context. This was followed by Dr. Sebasti L Raj,  Secretariat for Inclusive Development (CSID), who delivered the message and launched the MIS. Next, Mr. Julius Pascal Osta (JIVAN), Lead of Organization and Program Sustainability at Indo Global Social Service Society (IGSSS), conducted a session on the theme. Mr. Dhiraj Kishore, Assistant Manager of Software Development at IGSSS, along with Mr. Shinu Joseph, navigated through the MIS process, tabs, and pre-requisites. Finally, Dr. Sebasti L Raj gave concluding remarks.

During the workshop, JRDS introduced its MIS, which was designed by JRDS team with the IT support of the experts from the Indo Global Social Service Society (IGSSS). This management information system (MIS) serves as a valuable tool for gathering data and information to ensure compliance and uphold transparency in the utilization of donor funds. It plays a crucial role in maintaining accountability for both our donors and the beneficiaries we support throughout India.
