Indian Social Institute and St. Philomena's Hospital Provide Vital Healthcare to Migrant Workers in Bangalore

The Indian Social Institute (ISI), Bangalore and St. Philomena’s Hospital recently collaborated to conduct a one-day medical camp for migrant workers in Kaveri Nagar, Bangalore. From 9:40 am to 3:00 pm, a dedicated medical team provided check-ups for 178 individuals, addressing various health issues.

Local volunteers and members of a Self Help Group played a crucial role in organizing the event. The structured camp covered registration, check-ups, consultations, and medicine distribution.

The organizers expressed gratitude to St. Philomena’s Hospital for their dedicated support. The event concluded with the team and community members sharing a meal, highlighting the unity and fulfillment derived from serving the vulnerable migrant population.

This collaboration showcases the impact of collective efforts in addressing community needs and exemplifies the positive change achievable through partnerships.
