Nurturing Potential, Changing Lives
At Youth Empowering Service Jesuits (YES-J), we believe in the transformative power of nurturing dreams and shaping futures—especially for underprivileged youth across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. We are excited to launch Summer Shapes 2025, a vibrant journey of learning, growth, and empowerment.
Today, we had the great privilege of inaugurating the summer camp with Bala Latha Mallavarapu, an Indian civil service trainer and motivational speaker. Bala Latha is known for cracking the UPSC civil service exam twice, in 2004 and 2016, and has dedicated herself to guiding aspirants on their journey. Despite losing her legs to polio as a child, she has inspired many by overcoming challenges and achieving remarkable success.
With her warmth and wisdom, she inspired our children with these powerful words:
“Your circumstances don’t define your potential—your spirit does.”
Her message deeply resonated with every young heart present, inspiring hope, courage, and a renewed sense of purpose.
As we continue to create safe and inclusive spaces where youth can explore their talents and build confidence, we warmly invite corporate partners, NGOs, and changemakers to join us. Together, we can broaden access to skill development, education, leadership, and emotional well-being—impacting not just individuals, but entire communities.
