Supplementary education

Children in our Supplementary Education Program receive a holistic education. Children not only attend the local school system, but also develop physically and socially through program activities at our Learning Enhancement Centers (LECs).

The Supplementary Education Programs:

  • Provide necessary financial support for school expenses such as textbooks, uniforms, clean drinking water, and nutritious food. 
  • Connect children with tutors, mentors and advisors
  • Teach skills development and income-generating activities
  • Provide an opportunity to practice reading, writing and numeracy skills 
  • Include nutritious diets, health care and medical screenings to ensure healthy bodies and minds primed for learning
  • Enable poor families to get out of the poverty circle
